Welcome to Hunter Courses Ontario

We offer the Hunter's Education Course and Certification (OHEC), the International Bow hunter Education Program (IBEP) certification course, and the One Stop Course which includes both the Federal Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and Hunters Course (OHEC). Upon successful completion of the course and exam, you will be eligable to receive a license from the government of Canada.

IBEP Bowhunting Course

The purpose of the International Bowhunter Education Course (IBEP) is to provide both new and experienced bowhunters the basic fundamentals of good, safe bowhunting, developing the knowledge and skills essential to becoming a safe and ethical bowhunter.

One Stop Course - Firearms Course and Hunters

One stop course is a two day course that will allow students to get both the PAL license (CFSC) and the hunting license (OHEC) which includes the manuals and exams. The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is an introductory firearms safety course intended for all new firearms users. The course provides the broadest spectrum of firearms handling and education.

 

One Stop Course - Non-Restricted and Restricted Firearms Course

One stop course is a two day course that will allow students to get both the PAL license (CFSC) and the Restrict license (CRFSC) which includes the manuals and exams. The Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) is an introductory firearms safety course intended for all new firearms users. The course provides the broadest spectrum of firearms handling and education.

 

Hunting Course and Certification

The Ontario Hunter Education program (OHEC) will assist you to understand the natural world and become a knowledgeable and responsible hunter. The program reinforces the firearm safety lessons contained in the Canadian Firearms Safety Course.

 

 

Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC)

This course will allow students the opportunity to extensively handle and load the three major restricted action types: the single and double action revolvers and the semi-automatic action. Students will learn firearms history, social and ethical responsibilities, ammunition considerations and storage, transportation and display laws.
